We employ multiple levels of redundancy plus we have our full server images backed up. When it comes to customer data, we also keep separate copies of all user data replicated across more than one server and our backup servers are located at a completely different data center.

And to further assure customers of the integrity of their data we can perform full backup recovery in the event of a loss of data. Our hardware is fully redundant so even if one disk or server fails nothing will be lost and the system will not go down. Our uptime is over 99%.

When RecruitGear was established the developers discussed what would be the right model for it. After considerable investigation, an online application also known as SaaS (Software as a Service) was selected. The decision was made since our belief is that small-medium sized companies don’t like and can’t afford to keep a lot of servers runnning. And IT guys cost money. All in all those and a myriad of other server related needs including licenses, patches, upgrades, and more can be a distraction from their main source of income which is in all likelihood - NOT software and servers.
